Coronavirus update (3) - March 11, 2020
Hi everyone,
This is an update to our COVID-19 communication from March 3, 2020.
The COVID-19 situation continues to worsen, and many organizations are either already encouraging their employees to work from home, or are taking steps to prepare for that.
We'd like to do a trial of having everybody work from home on Thursday, March 12. The purpose of this is to find all the unexpected "leaks" in our processes, things we didn't expect to be difficult or impossible with everyone remote, so that we can address those before a more widespread and long term work from home policy is implemented.
So please work from home tomorrow. When you leave the office today, bring with you the things you'll need to get your job done remotely. When you're working tomorrow please keep some notes about challenges you face that are the result of being remote, and discuss them with your team on Friday when you're back in the office so you can work on finding solutions to those hurdles.
If anything about this is confusing or problematic for you, please discuss it with Lindsay or myself ASAP.

During the work from home process, both tomorrow and during the eventual longer term period, you may take some of the equipment you use at work home with you to make your tasks easier.
Permitted equipment:
- Screen
- Keyboard
- Mouse or Trackpad
- Laptop Charger
If you decide to borrow equipment for home, please fill in the following form so that we can keep track of where everything has gone.
Thank you!

The form is there to track the case that you're taking the screen, keyboard, mouse, trackpad, or laptop charger that is currently already at your desk... home with you.
