Kurling4Kids Charity Raffle
Hello Everyone,
I am making this staff forum post after having received the blessing from Consigliere Tim. I am taking part in a curling event hosted by an organization called Kurling4Kids and I am tasked with raising money for the event. Myself, and 3 of my friends put a team in and have already pledged $ 1000.00 and I am looking to raise additional funds for this cause through the selling of raffle tickets.
Kurling for Kids is a registered charity dedicated to improving the lives of children and their families through The Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Sainte-Justine UHC Foundation. They strive to raise funds to allow both hospitals to provide leading edge medical treatments, programs and equipment for our children, which would otherwise be out of reach with current budgets.
You can purchase raffle tickets directly from me with cash or via the website. When doing it via the website you will need to select myself (Brendan Parm) as the K4K participant you are purchasing from and I will arrange to get you your raffle ticket. The draw is March 30th at the Montreal West Curling Club where I will be curling.

There is a little less than 2 weeks left that you can buy tickets. You can buy them online if you don't have cash on you if you prefer. These are some great prizes you can win and a great cause you can support.

For those that bought tickets I just want to provide a correction as it relates to when the raffle is. It turns out the draw is actually April 27th. You can see that written here:
This Saturday, March 30th, is the big curling day where various teams curl and give the money they have raised until that point.

You don't want to see this. The most experienced curler on our team is my buddy who did it as a grade 8 gym class.

I wanted to give 1 final update on the Kurling4Kids initiative I took part in. Unfortunately, no one that I sold tickets to won but at least you can take solace in the fact that you supported an amazing cause.

They raised $ 446,000, which was a new record for the charity, for The Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Sainte-Justine UHC Foundation. Thank you once again to all those that donated.
