What's the feasibility of opening up API access to tags.


It'd be great to be able to do the following:


GET list of discussions with tag_id

GET count with tag_id

    We have a GitHub issue for getting tagging into API v2 (vanilla/vanilla#6902). It was originally slated for the 2.7 release, but unfortunately it was bumped. I imagine it'll make its way into the next release, but it hasn't been officially scheduled. You can reference the cited issue if you want to campaign for a priority bump.

    The spec for the tagging API (vanilla/vanilla#6901) is still awaiting some definition too. If you want to pitch some ideas of what should be included, you can do so over there. Features that don't make the cut for the initial tagging API release can be spun off into their own issues.
