Pet of the Week
@BrendanParm shared his cat Rex with us! Here's what he had to say
My wife and I adopted 'Rex' from the Vaudreuil SPCA in October 2016. That particular SPCA is a 'no-kill shelter' and he had been there 6 months already. They said he was 9 years old when we adopted him. I've had cats my whole life and I know they live forever so I was personally interested in one that had a few more miles on them. Since I was a child I always wanted a doberman named Rex but I ended up with the next best thing instead. We don't let Rex roam freely outside though going outside is probably his favourite thing to do. As a result we bought him a little leash and will sit outside with him when the weather is nice. Derrick, a notoriously anti-cat person has even go as far as to say "as far as cats go, Rex is pretty cool" so that's nice. His hobbies included rolling in the grass, getting his cheeks rubbed and lying on people when they are watching TV.
It's finally spring!
This past week we got our April showers and warmish weather. Boots and winter coats are put away
