Rich Editor: Improved List Formatting
We devoted some resources this sprint to improving our list formatting which had accumulated a few pain points.
- Preserve list formatting when single list items are changed
- Improved performance, consistency & undo behaviour
- Easily change list format & maintain list hierarchy
- Painlessly delete list items as needed
- Preserve inline formatting when switching from list format
Rich Editor: Image Size & Alignment Options
This release introduces image size and alignment options to allow you to create richer, better looking content. When you insert an image into your post you can use the image menu to configure the image's:
- Size
- Alignment
- ALT Text
Questions & Feedback
Are keyboard shortcuts (Tab) supported with list formatting?
They currently are not. The Tab function is used for Accessibility tools so we'll need to evaluate other options for keyboard shortcuts before they are implemented.
Can we look into introducing different bullet or numbering styles for indented lists?
We will evaluate our options as a team for consideration for a future sprint.
