Lockdown update (9) - Freezing Rain Edition - November, 2020
Hey everyone!
Its been a while since the last COVID update so this seems like a good time to check back in.
In the last update, we promised that we would not be going back to the office before, what at the time felt like a very long way off, January. Well January is nearly here. Sadly COVID is also here, still, and shows no signs of going away just yet, which means that we will not be going back to the office in January.
The new "definitely not before" date is now May, so we won't be going back to the office before summer. Fortunately, that also means no frozen walks to the metro, or shovelling the car at 7:30am, or falling into a slush puddle at 6:00pm! And more time to find and abuse Zoom backgrounds ?.
Not much else has changed for us, COVID wise, so it will be business as usual for the next 6 months as we wait to see what happens with the vaccines. Once those have rolled out to enough people, we will likely start to see the office become a more realistic proposition.
