Goodbye Dan
A group of us went out for a goodbye lunch with Dan.
Ryan & Linc in Montreal
@Ryan and @Linc made it into Montreal this past week. Nice to have them in person for many meetings. As well, because of this trip, the tradition of the Magic The Gathering nights continued. Details of the game and score here. TL;DR @DaazKu won. They had 8 players, hope to have 10 players next time.
Sugar Shack
The team on Thursday afternoon went to the Sugar Shack. Lots of great food and fun. @Mel says to be on the look out for a similar event next year.
No More Web Based Email
A small change was made over the last couple of weeks. Vanilla will no longer be accepting free emails from people downloading marketing collateral. If people want our guides, webinars or white papers, they must use their business email and not Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail, ect. There is a cost to creating this content, and we want to make sure it ends up in the hands of serious opportunities.
This does not impact people who want to download our Open Source project.

Pet of the Week

@ryan shared his story of his dogs.
My two dogs:
Carmen (Sandiego) is a six-year-old Chesapeake Bay Retriever. I got her when she was about eight weeks old. She loves destroying toys, playing Hide-and-Seek and making endearing vocalizations.Ella (Fitzgerald) is a one-ish-year-old...something...from the streets of Detroit. I adopted her when she was somewhere in the neighbourhood of five months old. She loves biting Carmen's legs, chasing Lincoln's dog, Rocky, and playing Keep Away with random things she finds in the yard or out in the neighbourhood.

Ella's adopted? Does she know you're not her biological owner?

Ella [...] chasing Lincoln's dog, Rocky

This was just before Rocky decided he'd had QUITE enough and was to be left alone to sleep.
