Thank You, Ryan!
If you haven't heard, today is @Ryan's last day! The announcement officially came to the Success/Support team yesterday afternoon and my first reaction was something like:

Watching someone like Ryan move on to other cool opportunities is bittersweet, but also really exciting.
During his time at Vanilla, Ryan has made just short of twelve thousand contributions on Github. He's helped push forward hundreds of amazing features. He's sat with CSMs and clients to work through the weirdest of problems. He's bailed the Support team out of more off-hours crises than I'd ever want to try to count. Probably most importantly, over the last six and a half years, he's been an amazing colleague, mentor, listener, literal wizard, leader and friend to everyone on the Vanilla team.
Part of me wanted to put this up on the OC, but it felt weird to wish Ryan the best in his future career adventures and not do it on the platform that he helped build. Vanilla would not be where it is now without his contributions.
I hope everyone has a chance to say their professional farewells before the end of the day. It's safe to say that we're all going to miss you and we all wish you a million years of success in your next endeavor!
(I'm sure if enough people bug him before the end of the day, he'll eventually break and tell us which Vanilla page he installed a secret Konami code type thing on)

@Ryan it has been an absolute pleasure to work with you and you have definitely helped me out with a few confusing/convoluted client requests. I joke that you are an all knowing and powerful being like The Wizard of Oz (especially when we were in the office and we would beam you onto the TV screen in a meeting room)
But really you have been a true beacon of knowledge and wisdom and I am sad that I will not have the opportunity to work more closely with you as I move onto the product team.
You will surely be missed!

Ryan, thank you for everything you've contributed to Vanilla. Everything you touched, you excelled at and made it better for the next person, from migrations, to professional services to product and finally leading one of our R&D teams.
Most of all I will miss your kind nature and your amazing sense of humor. The post-it note prank on Frank will not be forgotten.

I always felt so excited when you were assigned to one of my client's projects since I knew it was being handled by THE BEST.
You are one of the kindest and funniest folks I've worked with and I will miss chit chatting about doggos and accidentally spoiling game of thrones for you :P

Some real tear-jerkers in here! My time with Vanilla has been incredible and it is largely thanks to many of you. I cannot overstate how much I've enjoyed working with you all these years. I wish nothing but the very best for everyone at Vanilla/Higher Logic. You lot deserve it!
