This Discussion was created to share the feedback that we had in our 1st Survey. We were looking to see what parts of Vanilla’s Profile Page were important to Vanilla Users and what we can improve.

    Generally, I think people want better options for making the profile more LinkedInesque and networking friendly. A good example is the Qualtrics community where we custom-built an About section and Expertise section.

    I also don't know if a profile overhaul can be done without an overhaul of profile extender as that's a big part of it. With profile extender, even though you can write paragraphs in the textboxes, it doesn't appear that way when you're writing so it's a poor editing experience.

    The profile fields also don't accept URLs which can be annoying. Additionally, if it were things like LinkedIn those should have their own icon that appears.

    The wall is not used basically at all but I think some type of place where a user could post their own files or resources or info could be helpful. Like their portfolio ( comes up from time to time)
