This is an old website I worked on early in my career: http://www.equipementseguin.com/

It's so old that I had to look it up on Archive.org

the wayback has a very old snapshot of my website, it says 2010, but I'm relatively sure I made this in 2007 or 8, early in artschool:
https://web.archive.org/web/20100513194503/http://lauramakesart.com/
the only website I ever put together with earnest, with decade-old art to prove it (thankfully, the archive did not hold onto the images)

There are nice paintings in this shapshot: https://web.archive.org/web/20120622130015/http://lauramakesart.com/

Ah! I forgot about that update! That's post-art school and I'm pretty sure that website was a free template that made its rounds before square space really took over the personal site landscape.

I worked on the Nortel Networks website..... back in the late 90s
http://www62.nortelnetworks.com/index-nonflashed.html
1998 - IndiePool - providing services to most of the Independent Artists in Canada:
https://web.archive.org/web/19981203062038/http://www.indiepool.com/canada/home.html
and... for something really embarrassing ....my homepage from 2001 which I mostly used for bookmarks and testing stuff. This was before Google gained much traction. I couldn't find an older version.

Interesting to see all the old site - @Mel "Web Ring" is a blast from the past.
Some broken images and formatting,, but my e-commerce website from 2008 (design from 2005):
(damn, that logo looks even worse than I remembered)
And then in 2014, some point after we got rid of that crazy logo...
Our classifieds / community forum circa 2012
(yes, vbulletin is as challenging as they say)

That personal page with the ICQ reference is boss, @Rhys . :D Those animated gifs realllly work for it!
@Paul Johnston = totally very much a mid-naught look to your site :D
The site I shared was built with Dreamweaver using their template and FTP management system. I was really proud of it. Did a bunch of small but fun JS coding for various widgets. I have other sites but nothing with the level of effort or personal payoff at that one did. Even made some decent money with ads on it for a while.
@Laura - Fun website. I like the authentic art on it. You can tell that there was a lot of thought that went into it.
@slafleche I bet they are super grateful for that website too. :) Great idea for a discussion. Fun to see what people did in the past.

But the site has changed since I've worked there (It was back in 2010).

@Isis Was it more like this https://web.archive.org/web/20101012051810/https://tursites.com.br/ ?
I love the wayback machine.

I unfortunately cannot take the credit for these, they are the work of @AlexanderKim who's too shy to post them himself:

oooohhh frames

I just realised the TimeDate thingy on my old site didn't survive Y2K. Apparently we're now in the year 120.
2 -
Those rounded corners tho @Isis
And then the background tiles for @AlexanderKim's sides. How vintage!
@Rhys Y2K broke stuff, for real. :D

This is gonna be fairly disgusting, but here goes. ?
This was my first website on Angelfire(23 years ago). I chose that "hosting provider" because it allowed for a whole 2Mo of data. My website went through a few "phases", all of which are fairly embarrassing. But since, I have no shame. ?
Originally, it was about Visual Basic and emulation. Then it morphed into a kind of blog to a artistic portfolio of sort. This is where my first dabbles in web creation begun. You can have a glimpse of the various iterations through the snapshot navigator on top.
Enjoy... I guess!?

Apparently you have some js errors.

Angelfire, whoa that takes me WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY back.
1 -
Yeaaaah.... Not sure when I'll manage to fix this. ?

@Richard Flynn I still have them. By 2005 I had just over a hundred of them & was looking to self publish. ?
That didn't happen.

It was me. I was spoofed in to enable the new Theme Editor and forgot.
I was trying to share this, which was my first professional site.

Do you have a PR open? I have a few issues to report.
