Pull Data on discussions with a ZD ticket

My client Domino Data Labs is looking to pull data on discussions that have a Zendesk attached, see their request below;

I wanted to run some analysis on community post data, specifically all posts that have a zendesk ticket linked to it. I was wondering where the raw data is located and how I could have access to it. Please let me know!

We do not currently have an API endpoint for this so what could be an alternative to pull this info?

  • I think there are a couple options here:

    • Request the raw data as a 1 time export.
    • Request through services some sponsored development for APIv2 support from the zen desk plugin (or generally attachments support in the API)
    • Request the same thing as a feature request and have it prioritized in the rest of Vanilla’s roadmap.
