KEYSTONE CSS Theming Document needed for demos & trials

Hello,

I was talking to Brendan today about setting up our Trials.

We have a document about CSS theming to prepare for demos. There is in Google drive a document to help us theme DEFLECTOR, if our clients will be on KEYSTONE going forward, sales could use an equivalent guide for KEYSTONE.

Ability to get a search bar with an image banner in the background in KEYSTONE would help, this makes our demos/ trials look way more customized!

Would appreciate anyone who can help:), Maybe @Isis ?

    We need a Knowledge Base 😀

    There is https://staff.vanillaforums.com/kb/ 😀 a Knowledge base, that is 😂

  • Something I should add:

    The CSS required to increase the size of the logo uploaded via the banner logo settings under Branding. Currently it automatically resizes.

  • Additionally, we tend to have to make the .Header white to fit with multi-coloured logos that are uploaded. This is fine except for when you reduce the size of your browser and need to be able to see the Hamburger menu.

    What would be the CSS to change the hamburger menu on mobile to another colour?

    Deleted my previous comment - after speaking with Isis she let me know that you need to do the following config setting so that the CSS changes apply to a mobile device. If you shrink your screen it will look fine but if you go actually on a smart phone to your site you will just see the default theme colours.

    Ex:

    "CustomTheme": {

          "Enabled": true,

          "LiveRevisionID": "139_2019-02-11-18-52-14",

          "LiveTime": 1549911134,

          "WorkingRevisionID": "139_2019-02-11-18-52-14",

          "OverrideMobile": true

        },

    For the record, I can't seem to put this in code blocks. It seems it only appears when I highlight text but it doesn't appear if I highlight all of the text I want to put in the code block so then I don't know how to get the code blocks to apply.

  • Perfect spot for the completed document! Can't wait. This KB stuff is going to be life saving for training.
