CMX Space Model Becomes the SPARC model

Some of you in the past who have done training with me, learnt about the SPACE model. CMX has now updated this to the SPARC model.

The goal when starting out (according to them) is to choose one area to focus on. Your community may drive more than one of these values, but you want to optimize one before moving ahead. Each type of program can have completely different goals, metrics, members and technology. 

These are 5 types:

Support - help members solve problems for each other

Product - collect feedback and insights from the community

Acquisition - empower members to drive growth for your organization

Retention - increase brand loyalty and LTV of members

Contribution - motivate members to contribute to a collaborative platform, project or initiative
