Music service?

I've been happy with Rdio for a long time but am doing a trial of Apple music. What service do you use?

  • I'm letting the dust settle on Apple Music before giving it a try. Really, all I want out of it is the new recommender engine anyway. I'm a huge album nerd; I mostly buy & listen to full albums. A bad song is hugely distracting to me so I wanna know what's coming. The playlists I build are basically chronological discographies of a single artist.

  • I've been trying my Apple music trial. The discovery are very bad and buggy. The 'start a station from this song' does not work at all from desktop itunes. Not looking like I'm going to switch from Rdio.

  • I'm a satellite radio fan, but I am looking to use Apple, once they get the bugs worked out. Not interested in being their guinea pig.... o:)

  • Spotify works fine for me. It plays nice on my devices and generally it has 85-90% of the music I need. Discovery algorithms and radio generation are weak, but it plugs into last.fm. If you want albums day 1 you may get a little salty, and some bands try to game the system a bit by leaving a few tracks off spotify so you have to go hunting for them.

Worst thing is really having to connect your Facebook.
