If you put a number on it, what is normal room temperature?
There has a been a lot of disagreement on what proper room temperature is. I'll list out the most common temperatures we've head, and we'll settle this.
Edit: to be clear, this is a poll of what is normal room temperature. Not what is your ideal room temperature.

I didn't realize this was a debate, but I guess so
I was always told/learnt room temp was between 68~70°F or 20~21°C0 -
The central AC does its job poorly. By maintaining it at 23 I sometimes find it's too hot and sometimes I'm freezing. I like it at 20 at my place.

Are we debating the right temperature for a room, or what is considered "room temperature"? Two different things in my view
(I prefer it cooler)0 -
72 is ideal for sleeping, its currently 78 in my apartment right now.
To be fair though, trying to cool down an apartment to below 75 in 100+ weather is not very good on the electric bill, so its partly utilitarian. If it wasn't not great for the computers, I'd keep it at 80 during the day.

The system's rigged!

Oh, well then, probably 20. I voted for my own personal preference. Cooler is better.

I definitely prefer to keep my house in the 20-21°c range year round. It's a solid base.

I feel like people acclimated to Texas, Abu Dhabi, or Brazil are disqualified.

I worked in an office where most of my colleagues had personal heaters blasting in the summer. I'm comfortable when it's cooler.

On a side note, we now have our AC's running, and fiancé seems to think everything should be 24C (75F).
